On the streets of Qatar, the white colored micros gave a glimpse of passenger buses plying on the highways of Nepal. Small stickers of the national flag of Nepal were stuck around it. It was clearly written in large letters on the front and back - 'Gulmi Transport Seal Hile'.

The owner of this micro was 40-year-old Javindra Acharya of Chapa Hille Malika-5, Gulmi. This vehicle, which he has been driving since 2012, was well-known among Nepalis working in Qatar.

Gulmi traffic, which gives a glimpse of Nepali cars in the migrant land, will no longer ply in Doha city . Its owner, Acharya, died in an accident on Abu Hamar Road in Doha at 8 pm on Wednesday.

According to Ramesh Bhatt, President of Non-Resident Nepali Association, Qatar, he met with an accident while waiting for a damaged micro-carrying vehicle to break down.

'The microphone was turned off on the way to the worker's camp while going to the room . He was sitting with side light on  He was in the front of the vehicle,'' Chairman Bhatt said. He died on the spot.' ”Gulmi Transport” will no longer ply in Doha

The car that hit Acharya was driven by a Bengali citizen. After the

incident, the Nepali community there has become shocked. Baldev Rana, who is working in Qatar, has mentioned on social media, 'When a well-known person in Doha leaves like this, here we Nepali society has become lonely. The Gulmi Transport Seal will always remain in the minds of the Nepali community in Doha.'

Acharya has been working in Doha since 2007. "Initially he came to work for Labor". Later he started a company and worked as a painter. "He has 20 workers," said President Bhatt, "he used to go to the site to work with those workers himself." He is the former president of Gulmi Seva Samaj.

According to President Bhatt, it will take a few days to send his body. "Bengali citizens who hit the road will be allowed to take the dead body only after submitting it to the court". As soon as the court opens on Sunday, the process of sending the dead body will proceed," he said.

Acharya's body has been kept in Hamad Hospital.
