478 fire incidents occurred in the country in just one month, 22 people died. In that fire, there was a loss worth 18 crore 48 lakh 81 thousand 250 rupees.
Nepal Police Spokesperson, Deputy Inspector General of Police Dinesh Kumar Acharya informed that 22 people including 11 men, 10 women and 1 child died due to fire in Magh alone.
According to him, 26 men, 54 women and 7 children were injured in that fire. 17 people have been displaced due to the fire.
According to the police, 68 houses and 66 sheds have been burnt due to fire in the whole country, while 247 four-legged animals have been burnt to death during this period. Out of 478 fire incidents, the highest number of fires occurred in 129 places in Koshi region.
Similarly, there have been 89 fire incidents in Madhesh, 42 in Bagmati, 37 in the Valley, 39 in Gandaki, 63 in Lumbini, 47 in Karnali and 47 in Sudurpaschim.
