”Alliances make parties ghosts”
The United Socialists have accused the Congress-UML coalition government of failing in the country's economic reforms and good governance. In the central committee meeting that started on Friday, Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal and General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal presented a political report and said that the government cannot solve the country's problems.
"The Congress-UML coalition government has not been able to do a good job," Nepal has said, "the services provided by the government and the economic reform have not been able to be improved." The situation of the country is going in a negative direction.
Nepal has said that the Congress-UML is ready to bring a two-party system. "They are trying to impose a two-party dictatorship," he said, "the federal democratic republic should be strengthened." Similarly, the national situation has pointed out the risk of increasing anarchy in the country due to the Congress and UML governments.
General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal's political report discussed in the last standing committee has been presented to the central committee on the last day. The report mentions that the crisis of the country cannot be avoided. Now CPN-UML and Nepali Congress have formed the government. Because of that party and especially the leadership, it cannot solve the crisis cycle," the report says, "The two big parties are socialist and capitalist in terms of ideology, in terms of politics they are the parties that were brought to the government by the court's mandate and removed from the government, in terms of tendency they are leaders who are ready to do anything for power. As a result, there is no possibility of solving the country's problems from them.
Bhusal believes that problems will also arise due to the geopolitical attachment of Congress-UML. "The issue of constitutional amendment brought forward by them will further increase the political conflict," the report said, "that is, no matter what they do now, the problem will increase." Opposition to power will increase. The ruling coalition tries to respond to the opposition with repression and conspiracy. It will only increase the populist anarchy. Anarchy and oppression will increase and the country may go further into the abyss of terrible anarchy. In short, the power may become fascist and the streets may become anarchic.'
'Coalitions demonize parties'
Integrated Socialists have emphasized that the coalition demonizes revolutionary parties ideologically, so they should start building a party. Our initiative to build a party from the movement will intensify the revolutionary polarization. People, groups and parties who are similar in terms of the purpose of the movement, the demands of the movement and the nature of the movement will come together and the process of left and communist unity will move forward," said Bhusal's report, "The unity, clash and division between the CPN-UML and the CPN-Maoist Center in 2075 has shown that unity caused by the self-interest of some people in the leadership is not reliable." It has been said that it should be clear that there will be no alliance except cooperation, front or unity based on the program.
General Secretary Bhusal says that the people felt cheated because the political leadership could not fulfill the promises made in the past. The question has been raised whether the powers of the republic can lead the republic or not. As a result, frustration and anger are increasing in the people. The report said, "There has been a big psychological shock in the communist movement. On this occasion, social activists are attacking the republic on the streets. Ideas/ideologies are being mocked.
Socialists have accused Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of institutionalizing populist politics. Their populism was full of ideas/theories. Today's meaning political crisis has given birth to purely 'new' populists whose ideas/theories have not been mixed with anything', the report says, 'After being deceived that the leaders seen by the common citizens as the heroes of the republic have not fulfilled that role, now opposition to the old parties and old leaders, the state (especially the government), politics, ideas/ideologies is becoming the main topic of social dialogue.'
