17-year-old girl Rinkukumari from Navrajpur rural municipality-1 Bhagwatipur of Siraha has collected signatures of students in Kathmandu as a pressure for eternal justice. The signatures were collected by the students of Nepal Law Campus in Kathmandu.

Sujith Kumar Pandit, a student, said that signatures have been collected to pressurize the gang rape and suspicious death of Rinku to punish the culprits and pressure the victim's family for justice. In which students, senior advocates, professors etc. have signed .

Rinku, who went out to defecate on the night of last January 27, was gang-raped by three local youths. She reached home crying the next morning. However, with the involvement of the local people including the ward members, an attempt was made to resolve the incident in the village by holding a Panchayat meeting on the 29th and 30th.

The panchayat decided to pay a fine of 140,000 from the rapist and not to let the victim go to the police. However, the victim girl was found hanging dead in her house on the evening of 30th amid the threats of the perpetrators after the panchayat failed to meet.

After the news about this incident, the police is investigating with supplementary complaint in 4 cases against 8 people including 3 people involved in rape and 5 people involved in panchayati .
