Kailash Sirohia, Chairman of Kantipur Publications Limited, said that it is necessary to be familiar with the media technology of the future.
In a program organized in Kathmandu on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of Kantipur Publications, he said that technology has given both opportunities and challenges. 'Misinformation and disinformation have become a challenge,' he said, 'both are a threat to democracy.'
Kantipur is a media with a great legacy, he said that they are struggling to fulfill the duty and religion of the media.
'Kantipur is where it is now because of everyone's hard work,' he said, 'in 32 years of its establishment, Kantipur has enriched the journalism of Nepal.' Chairman Sirohia said that Kantipur is moving ahead unperturbed in any crisis and said that the organization plays an important role for democracy.
