While UML and Congress are cooperating in the government, there is intense competition in politics: Thapa

UML MP Surya Thapa has said that although UML and Congress cooperate in the government, they are fiercely competing in politics. In Tuesday's meeting of the House of Representatives, MP Thapa also said that the two parties have decided to cooperate in the government for political stability in the country.

Thapa also said that in the political history of Nepal, the first and second parties of the parliament have rarely cooperated in the government. He said that although there is cooperation in the government, there is still competition politically.

'UML and Congress have agreed to run the government and are partnering to end instability and give political stability, development and good governance to the country. Such cooperation between two major parties of the country is rare. However, in the past, whenever there has been such cooperation, great achievements have been achieved,' said Thapa, 'while we are cooperating in the government, there is intense competition and rivalry in politics as well.'

Despite being rival parties, UML and Congress are cooperating in the government. Regarding that, Thapa said, 'We are in cooperation with two major parties, and its consequences have been manifested in many ways, but there is no confusion, ambivalence and crisis in the relationship between the two parties in the national course.' MP Thapa also said that it is inevitable for the government to be effective. He said that the ministers should work in such a way that the results come out. He said, 'Cooperation between the two big parties in the work of the government is only a means, mainly to achieve success.'

Thapa said that there is a tendency to talk about corruption when he is in the opposition but not investigate it when he is in the government.
