Speaker Devraj Ghimire has accused the Speaker of Parliament Devraj Ghimire of bullying RSVP MP Sumana Shrestha, who came to ask for time to raise her issues in the Parliament about the Nepali students at KIIT University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha state, India.

Speaker Ghimire said that instead of giving time to speak only after understanding the issue and understanding with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, MP Shrestha presented in a bully style.

Speaker Ghimire said that in Monday's meeting of the House of Representatives, the RSVP MP Shrestha presented himself in an unnatural manner. Speaking to Kantipur on Tuesday, Speaker Ghimire said that instead of giving time later, MP Shrestha presented in an unparliamentary manner.  Ghimire said that Shrestha, who came to ask for time when the parliament session was about to start, said that she needed time immediately and when she tried to understand the matter, she angrily presented herself to him. The bell had rung for the Parliament. I was going to the meeting room to conduct the meeting. Sumana Shrestha came. He said, 'Nepali students are dead and stranded in India's KIIT. This issue must be kept.' I did not understand this matter, I said that I should also understand with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,'  Speaker Ghimire said, 'Ashok Chaudhary was given time to speak on Monday's meeting on behalf of RSVP. Chief whip Santosh Pariyar also said that Sumana Shrestha should be allowed to speak at an emergency time. But I told them that time cannot be given and tell them not to stand in the meeting.'

The Speaker says that even then, MP Shrestha was teasing the table and did not explain the topic well. MP Shrestha asked for time from the speaker even during emergency  . However, after the Speaker did not give her time, she made her statement in the media outside.

Speaker Ghimire has also objected to MP Shrestha putting his words in the media. The speaker objected that he had mentioned it in the media outside that he had not been given time to say it inside. "He suddenly started bullying without understanding the environment," said Ghimire.
