Congress Chief Whip Shyam Kumar Ghimire has said that the Ordinance has drawn unnecessary loopholes. In Tuesday's meeting of the House of Representatives, Ghimire said that the government has brought an ordinance to take the country to economic prosperity.

The government has introduced ordinances related to cooperatives, economic and business environment improvement and investment enhancement, good governance promotion and public service delivery, amending some Nepal Acts related to land, privatization (first amendment), economic procedures and financial responsibility (first amendment).
These ordinances have not been accepted due to the lack of majority of the ruling parties in the National Assembly. Ghimire also said that the government has brought the ordinance as per the constitutional provisions. He said that the ordinance was introduced to encourage the private sector in the field of economic liberalization and economic production.
