Speaker Devraj Ghimire did not give time to the MP who wanted to speak about the student expelled from a university in India during the meeting of the House of Representatives. In Monday's session of the Parliament, the Speaker did not give time to RSVP MP Sumana Shrestha when she tried to raise the issue of the situation of Nepali students in India during the emergency.

MP Shrestha said that she asked for time because she had to express her opinion on the matter and request information from the government in the meeting of the parliament. Why did the Speaker not give time even though he requested time in advance? She asked that.

Speaker Ghimire said that he was not allowed to speak because he was not given time. 'I have not given time to speak . If you get time, you will keep your words, if you don't, you will follow the rules,' said Ghimire.

MP Shrestha then asked for emergency time as the matter was serious and she had to ask the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, the Speaker did not accept the request and remained adamant about not giving time.

Shrestha tried to keep the subject of expulsion of Nepali students by KIIT University in Bhubaneswar, India. MP Shrestha said that the government should immediately support those students.
