While defecating, Rupesh came and offered to have physical contact with her and when she refused, Rinku told her that Chandan and Ramvinay kidnapped her and took her inside to the farm. "They have been taking turns ripping clothes and holding hands and feet," she said.

After there was a commotion in the village, some people called the panchayati on 29th, telling the victim's family that this incident should not be prolonged and that it should be settled in the village. Even in the panchayat, the girl told the incident that happened to her. In the panchayat there were local Nathuni Sah, Rampukar Mandal, Ramkripal Mandal, Rampreet Sah and others. Along with them, about 30 participating panchayats imposed a fine of one and a half lakh rupees on Rupesh, the main accused of the incident. After his relatives asked to reduce it, the judges decided on 140,000. However, the victim's family disagreed.

On 30th morning, accused Rupesh's relative Rampukar Mandal took the deceased's aunt Kagatidevi to the girl's house and threatened to turn her into a Panchayati anyway. According to Kagtidevi, Mandal said that he would take 40,000 from the money, 50,000 to Panch, 25,000 to the leader of Musahar and 25,000 to the victim's family. "Namane threatened that anything would happen," she said.

On the same day, the panchayat sat again in the village. The family of the accused Rupesh said that since there were three people involved in the incident, all of them should participate and pay the fine amount. The victim's family left the panchayat and came home.

After leaving her daughter at home in the afternoon, Sita said that she went to the village and after coming back, she saw her hanging at home at 7 o'clock in the evening. "When my daughter was hanging, the door was opened from outside the house," she said, "Either someone hanged my daughter or she hanged herself due to threats from the perpetrator." They prepared a complaint against the accused Rupesh, Chandan and Ramvinay and the threatening Rampukar Mandal for coercion and inciting suicide.

'However, the police in the case area refused to take the complaint,' Sangeeta Devi Sada, an activist from the Musahar community, said, 'The police asked to change the complaint and mention only one person's name.' Then they filed a complaint against Rupesh accused of kidnapping and rape and Rampukar who threatened. Even after that, the complaint was not registered . Sangeeta says that the police came to the place where the complaint was written and wrote it in their own way, changed the title of the case and kept it only as abetment of suicide and also named only one Rupesh as the defendant . "Looking at the incident, a case should be filed against all four people," she complained, "but it seems that the police are working for the perpetrators rather than the victims." He claims that the victim's family has only filed a complaint of inciting suicide against one person and they have proceeded accordingly. "We don't tell anyone that they should write this or that in the complaint, we will register whatever comes and proceed with the investigation," says DSP Paswan, "We have conducted an autopsy in Dharan after the matter of rape and panchayat came up in this incident. It is being investigated thoroughly. If more things are revealed, we will file a supplementary complaint with the victim's family. are . The other accused also left the village after the death of the girl. 

Sunil Sada, the spokesperson of Rashtriya Musahar Sangh, who is helping the victim's family, said that even though the state should have protected the victim at this time, it could not be done. He demanded for the safety of the victim's family, the culprits involved in the incident and the panchayat residents for action.
