Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the rioters made a mistake by defeating Shankar Pokharel in the House of Representatives Election-2079. Addressing the public meeting organized by UML in Ghorahi on Monday, Prime Minister Oli said that if Pokhre won the election, it would be easier for him too.

UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel was defeated from Dang-2 in the House of Representatives elections held on November 4, 2079. He was defeated by Maoist's Rekha Sharma. Sharma, who became a candidate through an alliance with the Congress, defeated Pokharel by 193 votes.
