Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has suspected that funds have been embezzled in the name of those affected by the Jajarkot earthquake. He raised a question in the Parliament on Sunday saying that the money was distributed as the first installment to 48,000 households where there were a total of 39,000 households.

Participating in the question and answer session with MPs, Prime Minister Oli raised the issue while answering MP Prakash Jwala's question.

'The first installment has been distributed to 48,000 houses where there are 37,000 houses.' There are 37,000 houses destroyed in that place, and how was the money distributed to 48,000? Why did this happen?'
