The death toll in a stampede at a railway station in New Delhi on Saturday night has reached 18 . There was a stampede during the train ride between the religious tourists who had gathered to board the train to go to the world's largest religious gathering Mahakumbh Mela. The Kumbh Mela in the northern city of Prayagraj attracts tens of millions of Hindu devotees every 12 years. There was a stampede at the New Delhi railway station as crowds struggled to board the train for the event, which ends on February 26.  000

An eight-member committee has been formed to investigate the issue of balloon explosion at the opening ceremony of 'Pokhara Visit Year 2025' . On Sunday morning, an eight-member investigation committee was formed under the coordination of Chief District Officer of Kaski, Bharatmani Pandey. Shivraj Choulagai, chief administrative officer of Pokhara Metropolitan Municipality, Shyambabu Olia, chief of police, Kaski police chief, Suryaprasad Timilsina, chief armed police superintendent of No. 24 Gana Headquarters of Armed Police, Suresh Kumar Tiwari, deputy director of investigation at the National Investigation District Office, and Ganga Bahadur Chhetri, assistant chief district officer of Kaski, are members-secretary.   000
