Although the real estate business across the country seems to be on the mend, there has been a decline in revenue collection in January compared to last December.
According to the Department of Land Management and Records, which maintains the details of real estate transactions, revenue equal to 3 billion 87 crore 24 lakh 81 thousand six hundred and 47 rupees was collected last January.
Four billion 25 crore 22 lakh 21 thousand seven hundred 79 rupees revenue was collected in December. According to the department, the revenue of 3 billion 87 crore 48 lakh 26 thousand nine hundred 76 rupees was received last November.
According to the details of the seven months of the current financial year, there has been a general increase in revenue collection. Compared to the same period last year, the revenue collection has increased by almost 14 percent in the seven months of the current year.
