Government Spokesperson and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prithvisubba Gurung has said that the media should convey truthful information.

Addressing the interactive workshop on the direction of Nepal's public service broadcasting organized by the Nepal Television Employees' Union in Dhulikhel, Kavre on Friday, Minister Gurung said that the media had  He said that only factual information should be conveyed to the people. 

Referring to the right to information mentioned in the constitution, he said, 'Getting information is the fundamental right of the people, the right to information should be guaranteed to the people, while communicating information to the public, information should be communicated only based on truth and facts.' 

Minister Gurung gave instructions to make the public service broadcasting Nepal successful and provide effective service. "Employees play an important role in making the government strong and capable," he said.
