The results of the election for the leadership of Nepal Samajwadi Party (New) Shakti will be announced today.

Vice President Manushi Yami Bhattarai informed that after the counting of the votes of the central members, the votes of the officials are being counted. 

According to him, all the election results will be available by 5 pm today. There is a competition between Central Coordinator Baburam Bhattarai and Netra Chapagai for the chairmanship. 

There are 20 unopposed members in the 99-member central committee, including 2 vice-chairmen. Elections were held for the remaining positions. Manushi, who is also the daughter of coordinator Bhattarai, was elected unopposed as the vice president.
