Nepali Congress has decided to hold the convention of its fraternal organizations in March. This decision was taken after a discussion between officials and various fraternal organizations at the party's central office on Thursday.

Congress spokesperson Dr. Prakasharan Mahat said that despite some challenges, it was decided to complete the convention at the appointed time. He said that there was a discussion with the steering committee and heads of the fraternal organizations about the preparations for the convention and he also said that they have taken suggestions about the support that the party should provide to complete the convention on time. Speaking after the

discussion, he said, 'The party had decided to form a committee of directors to hold the convention of the fraternal organizations and hold the convention till March, and the discussion focused on presenting the progress to the leadership and how the party can help.' He said some of the participants in the discussion  It was said that the convention in March was a challenge, but many of them said that they promised to hold the convention at the appointed time. He also said that the leadership level has decided not to extend the session.
