The death toll has reached 3 in a school bus accident in Shankharapur Municipality-5, Kattike, Kathmandu. According to Sankhu Police Department, 40 people were injured in the accident. The name of the deceased has not been released.

Sundarimai Transport bus No. 2B 7958 carrying students of SS Academy located in Chabhil happened on Wednesday afternoon at 4:50 pm due to brake failure and an accident. According to the police, the bus driven by 39-year-old Manish Majhi was approaching Sankhu when the accident happened. 

The injured are being treated at Shankharapur-based People's Life Care Hospital, Jorpati-based Nepal Medical College and Maharajganj-based Terti Teaching Hospital, police said.
