Jaspa Nepal has decided to reject the 'ordinance to amend some Nepal Acts related to land'. The Parliamentary Party Meeting of JSP Nepal has decided to accept the other 5 ordinances on the condition that they be amended through a replacement bill.

On Tuesday, Jaspa Nepal decided not to accept the land ordinance, raising questions about the intention of the government it supported. Rajkishore Yadav, the first vice president of Jaspa Nepal and the coordinator of the Ordinance Study Working Group, said that the land ordinance is not in the interest of the country in the long run.

We believe that this ordinance was brought with the intention of distributing land to land mafia and some middlemen, it will cause great damage to the country. Therefore, the land ordinance cannot be accepted," he said.

Before issuing the Land Ordinance on January 2, the government introduced the Ordinance on Good Governance Promotion and Public Service Delivery, Cooperatives, Economic and Business Environment Improvement and Investment Enhancement, Privatization (First Amendment) and Economic Procedures and Financial Responsibility (First Amendment) Ordinance. Jaspa Nepal says that it is possible to vote in favor of 5 ordinances except for land. 

We do not favor bringing ordinances in principle. After the government has brought it as necessary, we will ensure that it is not promoted or such actions are not repeated in the future," said First Vice President Yadav, "We have some disagreements with the remaining 5 ordinances, if there is a discussion with the government and the disagreement is accepted, then we can vote in favor." Jaspa Nepal says that the government should be ready to address the dissatisfaction in the other 5 ordinances through a replacement bill. He is going to take the stand that the Land Ordinance should be repealed as it was brought with wrong intentions. 

There is a constitutional provision that the ordinance brought by the government must be passed by both houses of the federal parliament. The government did not advance the proposal that the ordinance should be 'approved' while waiting for the decision of Jaspa Nepal, which has a decisive number of MPs in the National Assembly. As the decision was delayed, Jaspa started bargaining for power by showing the ordinance on Nepal. We believe that there is a conspiracy and a malicious attempt to change the subject of our stand and issue while various types of propaganda are being carried out. We have come to a conclusion by tearing all of these," said Yadav, the first vice president of Jaspa Nepal. 

JSP Nepal's parliamentary party has also decided to 'whip' MPs in the House of Representatives and the National Assembly for voting against the motion to 'approve' the land ordinance. Upendra Yadav, president of Jaspa Nepal, has said that an ordinance has been brought to sell and distribute the land to different people under various pretexts, including the limit and area of ​​the land.

He has issued a statement and mentioned that there is serious disagreement and opposition to the said ordinance. "Due to excessive increase in internal migration and emigration, there is a possibility that internal conflicts will be created in the future and the country will be torn apart because of the Ordinance.
