A Nepali who came to Greece illegally has committed suicide. Kavi Thapa Magar, who lives in Bhanu Municipality of Tanahun, was found dead hanging from a tree.

The Nepali Embassy in Vienna, Austria, which oversees Greece, said that the body of the deceased was kept by the local police and that the family would send it to Nepal at their own expense.

On Monday, the Nepali Embassy in Vienna has also written to the consular department on this matter . A Nepali who knows about this incident said that the deceased poet had arrived in Greece from Romania. The police also found a residence permit issued from Romania with the poet.
