Jaspa, Nepal has decided not to support the Land Ordinance in both Houses of the Federal Parliament. The parliamentary party meeting held at Singh Darbar on Tuesday decided not to support the government on the ordinance in both the House of Representatives and the National Assembly.

According to the first vice president Rajkishore Yadav, in the other 5 ordinances brought by the government, Jaspa, Nepal will support the government. According to Jaspa, Nepal, the land ordinance is in favor of land mafias.

First Vice President Yadav informed about the decision of the meeting and said, 'The land ordinance is not in the interest of the country in the long run. The meeting decided that it could not be accepted as it would cause great damage to the nation . It has come in favor of the land mafia . Jaspa's decision is that the middlemen were brought in to feed the middlemen rather than the actual squatters.'  Stating that the practice of bringing

Jaspa, Nepal to reject land ordinance in both houses ordinances is wrong, Yadav said that in some ordinances, voting can be done with 'reservations'. "It is not good to bring ordinances, but after bringing them as necessary, if there is a discussion with the government, then we can vote in favor of those ordinances," he said.

The working group formed under the leadership of Neta Rayadav for the party's study on all the six ordinances brought by the government submitted a report to the party leadership that the land ordinance could not be accepted.

Jaspa has objected that an ordinance has been introduced to distribute land to landless squatters, landless Dalits and unorganized people and to benefit big real estate businessmen in a wider scope than the eighth amendment made on 28th January 2078.

In order to shrink the forest area, an ordinance has come to allow land to be given to forests, national parks, intermediate areas around reserves, Gauchar, Hatghat and market areas. According to Jaspa, the ordinance brought to bring forest land in the name of the government, unorganized and given to squatters has raised concerns about the future of the stolen land and it cannot be accepted.

The ruling Congress and UML have not kept the 6 ordinances brought by the government in the agenda of the parliament as the arithmetic of the National Assembly is not assured. A majority in the 59-member National Assembly requires 30 MPs. There are 28 MPs in favor of the ordinance including 16 from Congress, 10 from UML, 1 from Manoneet and 1 from LOSPA.

The opposition has 26 MPs including 17 from the Maoists, 8 from the United Socialist Party and 1 from the Rashtriya Janamorcha. Vamdev Gautam, who was nominated by the President, also stood in the opposition and only 28 MPs will be in favor of the government.
