Maoist President Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that as long as Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli remains under the leadership of UML, Left unity is not possible. Talking to mediapersons at Janakpurdham Airport on Monday, he said that the situation in the country is not progressing smoothly.

"As long as the KPG remains under the leadership of the UML, the communist unity of Nepal, the unity of the left wing is not possible," President Dahal said. Similarly, he claimed that the government is not paying attention to them.

President Dahal has also accused Prime Minister Oli of being a person who wants to destroy the current movement, change and abolish the constitution. He alleged that Prime Minister Oli blocked the proposed amendment of the constitution twice in Parliament for the Madhesi people.
