Premkumar Rai, chief commissioner of abuse of authority investigation, said that the government should take the lead in improving the situation of good governance. In a program organized on Monday on the occasion of the 34th Foundation Day of the Commission, Chief Commissioner Rai said that public service delivery should be improved for good governance.
He said that issues such as procurement without a procurement plan and the effect of middlemen on service delivery should be improved. He said that procurement management should be made more effective to prevent further damage to the state.
He suggested to take more improvement initiatives to provide easy and simple public services to citizens . Good governance will be established only if there is an initiative from all three levels of government Chief Commissioner Rai says .
He also said that Nepal's laws and mechanisms should be revised according to international law.
