Ghanshyam Upadhyay has been brought in as Finance Secretary. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday decided to transfer Upadhyay, who is working as the secretary of the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission, to the Ministry of Finance.

According to the information given by a minister, Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Ram Prasad Ghimire, has been transferred to the President's Office. Narayan Prasad Sharma Duwadi, Secretary of the Office of the President, has been transferred to the Secretary of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers was held at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar.
