39 injured in the school bus accident that took place in Pharping, Dakshinkali Municipality-3 of Kathmandu on Sunday have been taken to different hospitals for treatment.
Two people died on the spot when a bus carrying school students met with an accident. The driver of the vehicle and an eight-year-old child were among those who died, informed Vishwa Adhikari, Chief of District Police Complex Kathmandu, Senior Superintendent of Police.
After the accident, the rescue work has been completed and some of the injured have been taken by their relatives for treatment, he said. Other 39 people are being treated in different hospitals.
The police said that Junkiri Inlis School bus accident happened in Bhanjang while going home after the school holidays.
