Janamat Party President Chandrakantad (CK) Raut has said that he did not join politics to become Prime Minister or Minister immediately. Speaking at the first national convention of Nepal Samajwadi Party (New Power) on Sunday, President Raut said that it is wrong to look for results soon after the new party was launched.

It should not have been a year or two years since we started politics, opened a new party, established a new party, the first congress is about to take place, what do we expect if it did not give the country a solution immediately, it was able to make a prime minister? At the same time, we hope that it has been able to control the parliament, that it has been able to make laws. It is necessary to have courage. I would like to say about any new party, we need that courage in the leadership class as well, we did not come to become prime minister or minister immediately, we came to set up ideas and help the country. It takes time. It is not something that happens overnight, he said.

President Raut said that the new party should learn from the old political parties and move forward. He says that even the old political parties did not come overnight.
