A committee was formed to assess the damage caused by the fire in the Ministry of Water Supply

A three-member committee has been formed to assess the fire damage of the Ministry of Water Supply. The Ministry of Urban Development has formed a committee headed by Senior Division Engineer Ganesh Karmacharya.

The committee was formed after Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh conducted an on-site inspection of the water supply ministry where the fire occurred.

According to the Ministry of Urban Development, the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Water Supply will be one of the members of the committee formed for damage assessment, while the other member is Engineer Ganesh Pandey. 

According to the Ministry of Urban Development, the committee will assess the damage of the incident and has been mandated to prevent such incidents from happening again in the Singhdarbar complex and suggest measures to prepare for it. The committee has been asked to submit a report within a week.   

Water Minister Pradeep Yadav's office caught fire on Saturday morning. It is estimated that the damage caused by the fire is worth 50 lakh rupees.
