Two policemen on duty were assaulted in Thamel of the capital on Thursday night. According to the police, the perpetrators are the leaders of Aneraswaviyu, which is close to the ruling party CPN-UML.

Police constable Raghulal Gharti and police constable Nagendra Bista, who were on duty on a motorcycle from police circle Darbarmarg, were assaulted by Darbarmarg police. The police have identified the perpetrators. 

According to the police, there are 6 people including permanent committee members of ANERASWAVIU, Kamal Joshi, Ramesh Phulara, Ganesh Shahi, Dinesh Sigdel, Gopaljung Shahi.

Amrit Science Campus Askal in Thamel was attacked by the police. The police said that the police, who went on duty on a motorcycle, attacked the student leaders while trying to remind them.
