Rashtriya Swatantra Party MP Dol Prasad Aryal has objected to the government's attitude towards the chairman of the party saying that the parliament has also supported it.
He expressed this objection while speaking at the House of Representatives meeting on Friday. He accused the government of retaliating against party president Ravi Lamichhane. He warned that the government should pay the price of this level of retaliation against the chairman of the fourth largest party.
He said, "The government has taken revenge against the chairman of the National Independent Party, Ravi Lamichhane, and it is felt that the sovereign parliament has also supported the attitude of the government." A person who is the president of the fourth largest party will surely have to pay the price for this level of revenge by the government. The people have understood the government's trickery of false cases. The sovereign parliament should not support this attitude of the government. I want sub-rule 3 of rule 148 of the Rules of the House of Representatives to be used correctly. I request the Honorable Speaker to immediately lift the suspension of Ravi Lamichhane's position while he is not in prison, while implementing the rule that he is not in prison.
