Nepali Congress MP Prakasharan Mahat has said that the CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal was under the illusion that the post of Prime Minister would not go beyond him, so Congress and UML had to meet.
Speaking at a special time in the Thursday meeting of the House of Representatives, he said that President Dahal is in the mindset that he will become the Prime Minister if Congress and UML collaborate with anyone. He said that it is now torn. He said that Dahal made his statement after the end of that situation.
He accused Chairman Dahal of reversing the decision of the Cabinet not to have any federal project below Rs. He said that the current government has to work on the same budget and move forward, so there is a problem in improving the financial situation.
He said that President Dahal took all the credit for the political change and that President Dahal wanted a one-party system. His comment was that President Dahal fought a war with the intention of establishing a one-party system.
