Why did the Parliament Secretariat not hesitate to witness the oppression of the government? I and my party deeply regret this. Also, let the parliament secretariat correct this decision as soon as possible and release the suspension.'

National Independent Party MP Sobita Gautam has demanded that a commission be formed to investigate the assets of the Prime Minister, former Prime Ministers and all those holding government positions and all the leaders should pave the way for it.
In Thursday's meeting of the House of Representatives, MP Gautam also accused the ruling coalition of filing a case of money laundering and organized crime along with co-operative fraud to take revenge on Ravi Lamichhane.
Stating that the investigation into the money laundering crime has started from Raswapa Chairman Lamichhane, MP Gautam demanded that a committee be formed to investigate the assets of other leaders as well.
'A case of money laundering has been registered against Lamichhane. Well, we said as we said - there should be money laundering of leaders and ministers . It started with our leader. However, while the assets of our leader Ravi Lamichhane, who has only 2 years of parliamentary experience, is being investigated, should we not investigate the assets of the Prime Ministers, former Prime Ministers, leaders who have held government positions who have been in politics all their life without any profession, and have led this country for years? The issue of wealth laundering is not a department under the Prime Minister, a separate autonomous commission should be formed and arranged to be looked into by that commission.' He also said that the image of Nepal will be improved internationally if such investigation is done.
The parliamentary committee formed to investigate the co-operative embezzlement stated that 'Ravi Lamichhane's involvement in the co-operative money embezzlement was not found' and MP Gautam said that they prosecuted organized crime and money laundering. She said, 'So much force had to be used to suppress the new power . However, why did the Parliament Secretariat not hesitate to be a witness of the government's repression? I and my party deeply regret this. Also, let the Parliament Secretariat correct this decision as soon as possible and lift the suspension.'
Gautam also said that the state is prosecuting Lamichhane in a biased manner. Expressing her displeasure with the fact that the Attorney General's office started an investigation against the District Attorney of Chitwan, she said, 'Why did the public prosecutor not register a case in organized crime, the public prosecutor was transferred overnight. However, an inquiry committee has also been formed on the said public prosecutor. A moving example of how the state holds a prosecutor's discretion hostage has been presented. MP Gautam said that the state planned against the
person.
