Ravi Lamichhane, the Central Chairman of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) and former Home Minister, who was charged in the Chitwan District Court for defrauding the savings of the Sahara Chitwan Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society, has finished his detention.

A lawsuit has been filed against Ravi Lamichhane, who should be sentenced to seven years in prison and a fine of 70,000 rupees, and to recover the sum of 108,000,18,151 rupees from Sahara Cooperative to Gorkha Media, which will be the collective liability of four people including Lamichhane.
