Ravi Lamichhane, Chairman of Rashtriya Swatantra Party, has alleged that his position as MP was falsely suspended. After being released on bail from the Chitwan District Court on Thursday, Lamichhane said that despite being elected twice, the post of MP was suspended.
Lamichhane was ordered to be released on a bail of 54 lakhs after giving a statement on cooperative fraud in the Chitwan district court. Then Lamichhane said outside the court, 'I have no question that justice will not come from here . It is known that Chitwan residents have repeatedly fought for my justice . When the people of Chitwan elected me twice and sent me, my position as a member of parliament has been fraudulently suspended.'
Lamichhane also claimed that change will be born from Chitwan. He said that Chitwan is suffering to change the country. He said that now is not the right time even though he has to keep many things. He also said that he will answer everything when necessary.
Lamichhane had previously submitted a petition to Speaker Devraj Ghimire to withdraw his suspension as MP. The RSVP has been saying that a case of organized crime and money laundering has been filed to suspend Lamichhane in Parliament.
