The Madhesh-centric party is continuing its efforts to block the front. The meeting of party-wise appointed representatives for the formation of the front was also held on Monday.
In a meeting held at the parliamentary party office of the Civil Liberation Party led by Resham Chaudhary, the issue of cooperation on political issues was discussed among the leaders.
Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal spokesperson Manish Suman said that the discussion is going on with the aim of cooperation between parties with similar views and issues. "All the parties and leaders have realized the cooperation, there has been a positive conversation between the party-based working group," he said, "After the discussion takes a concrete form, the top leaders will sit and decide on how to proceed in the future." Discussions are going on recently between 8 parties namely LOSPA, Unmukti, Rashtriya Mukti Morcha, Janata Pragatisheel and Tamalopa.
Resham Choudhary, the patron of the Civil Liberties Party, proposed in the meeting that the Tharuhat movement should be raised as a common issue, the report of the Red Commission should be made public, and the bills introduced by the government should be shared in the parliament. After the meeting, Chaudhary said that a meeting was held to form a front between political parties with similar issues. He said that there was a discussion on how to cooperate in the future to protect the achievements of the Madhesi and Tharu movements. They have also made it clear that they do not want to form a front against the government.
Jaspa Nepal spokesperson Suman also said that it should not be understood as an attempt to create a front to oppose the government. "There will be support and opposition to the government on a case-by-case basis," he said, "we are not trying to oppose the government." We will try to make the government aware of the need.'
