The 'No Cable Car Group' has formed a four-member negotiation facilitation committee to discuss with the negotiation committee formed by the Ministry of Home Affairs. A committee has been formed under the coordination of Amar Tumyahang with Ram Maden, Shankar Limbu and Saru Singhak as members. With this, the negotiation process for conflict management, which started on January 12th, will begin.
Khagendra Fembu Limbu, the coordinator of the Cable Car Cancellation Joint Struggle Committee, said that this committee will create an atmosphere of coordination for negotiations. He said, 'Our stance was that we would only speak on behalf of the federal government, that is positive. But the joint secretary's decision cannot be implemented. That is why we have said that a political level negotiation committee should be formed. A facilitation committee has been formed to discuss that matter.' The
group has taken the stance that the construction work should be suspended, the three people arrested including Pradeep Maden should be released, and the security personnel should be withdrawn from the under-construction area.
