Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that there is no reason why Nepal should lag behind. Addressing an interaction program with the youth held in Kathmandu, Prime Minister Oli said that Nepal's history is glorious and there is no reason for Nepal to lag behind.
He said that although Nepal was behind for some time, now Nepal can go ahead of other countries through the use and development of technology. He said that Nepal has access to technology for all kinds of development and Nepali youth can do many things through technology for the development of the country.
Prime Minister Oli said, 'Yesterday, our history is glorious. We fell behind for a while. There is no reason for us to fall behind. All technology is available today. Be it space technology, be it AI technology, be it any other technology. All are available. Today on 9/10 the students do science demos, they do demos when they are surprised. Students in 11/12 launch small rockets in space science. They say we can send satellites into space. There is no reason for us to fall behind. We must have confidence. Now we must not fall behind.'
He said that success can be achieved by working with confidence and urged the students to study with the feeling that the country can be built with confidence. He mentioned that the current government's focus is on rapid development.
