Talks have started between the government and the 'No Cable Car Group' in Pathibhara. Discussions between the negotiation committee formed by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the negotiation facilitation committee formed by the agitating groups started at Hotel Himalaya in Lalitpur.

The government has formed a negotiation committee headed by Home Ministry Joint Secretary Prem Prasad Bhattarai, while the No Cable Car Group has formed a negotiation facilitation committee headed by Amar Tumyahang, with Ram Maden, Shankar Limbu and Saru Singhak as members.

With this, the process for conflict management that has started for the past five years has started. As their main demand can only be met at the political level, the protesting group has formed a facilitation committee.
