Maoist's decision to file a resolution rejecting the ordinance

The main opposition party in the parliament, the Maoists, will propose rejecting the ordinance brought by the government. The meeting of the Maoists' central parliamentary party will propose to reject the ordinance.

Maoist MP Madhav Sapkota informed that the method of bringing the ordinance was opposed and a resolution was filed to reject the ordinance according to the provisions of the House of Representatives regulations. "As opposed to the method of bringing an ordinance by consulting with the opposition parties, it has been decided to register a proposal to reject the ordinance according to the regulations," he said. He said that because the ordinance was introduced at the time of convening the session of the Federal Parliament rather than the content of the ordinance, he is going to file a rejection motion to oppose the process.

The meeting of the parliamentary party also discussed about forming a working group to study the theoretical aspects of the content of the

ordinance. In order to study the content of the ordinance, there was a discussion about forming a working group under the coordination of Secretary General Dev Prasad Gurung.

Similarly, Maoist has prepared to jointly submit amendment proposals after studying the ordinance replacement bill.
