The Ministry of Home Affairs has called three MPs here at 5 pm on Tuesday to discuss the issue of the cable car to be built in the Pathibhara area and the agitation. MP Yogesh Bhattarai, Leeladevi Bokhim and Urmila Thebe representing Taplejung in the House of Representatives were called by the minister.
"I had reached Chitwan, I got the news only yesterday evening, so now I am going back to Kathmandu," MP Bokhim said. Another MP, Urmila Thebe, said that she was preparing to go to the ministry after the committee meeting in the afternoon. They have indicated that they will inform the Home Minister about the real situation in the district and request the Home Minister to call the protesting group for talks.
Bokhim said, "I held a discussion between the agitating group and the administration at Sido Savco in Asti district, I will also inform them about that and tell them what the current situation is."
Bhattarai and Thebe are UML MPs while Bokhim is a Congress MP.
