The dozer came from the helicopter, the road did not

Rolwaling river flowing from Chho-Rolpa Himalaya from above, Tamakoshi river below. Both of them lived in a village surrounded by forests from all sides. When traveling from Wari to the entrance road to the upper Tamakoshi dam site in Vigu rural municipality-1 Lamabagar, one can see only mist all around. But the village is not seen surrounded by that.

The village of 'Riku' is located under that hill. Residents of Gaurishkanr rural municipality-1 Riku, which is 2 thousand 100 meters above sea level, are still forced to crawl in the heat. For more than a decade, there was a compulsion to move around the village by crossing Tamakoshi in the Sahara of Tuin.

Panmaya Tamang, a local, said that after the suspension bridge was built in Riku in the year 2069, Tuin disappeared. Panmaya lost her daughter-in-law and granddaughter in July 2068 due to the twine of Tuin. I can't remember that dark day,  "My daughter-in-law and granddaughter fell from Tuin in July," she said, "they disappeared in Tamakoshi." A suspension bridge was built to get to and from the village, sadly, it is where it belongs.'

Due to the lack of roads, some of the sick Pariha have to rely on Doko even now. Who sees the hidden village of Bhirmuni? Because people live here too,' she said, 'One day you have to kill love for Citamol, and that too, you have to go back and forth by hanging on a rope.' Dozers reach many villages by making roads.  But the dozer reached Rikuma by helicopter.

The dozer came from the helicopter, the road did not Another project under the Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Center, a dozer has been taken by helicopter for the Rolwaling river diversion work. In 2013, Tek Bahadur Khadka came and settled in Riku. 68-year-old Bhim Bahadur Khadka said that there are currently 22 households in Riku. "My father brought me here when I was one year old," he said. He said that he brought water from the meter. 'We used to drink water from the river, now we have brought it from the Bhir above,' he said, 'No one has seen Riku's suffering, the village has become deserted because of leaving the village.' Tamang

The dozer came from the helicopter, the road did not  .  He said that with the help of the Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Center, the water supply plan and stream were made. Rikuma was a school up to class 3 . That too 3 years after it was closed after not having children  Mek Tamang told  . "The government closed the school after there were no children," he said He said that the number of people leaving the village increased after the school was closed. "Only economically disadvantaged families live in Riku, the produce here is barely enough to eat for 3/4 months," he said He said that after the flood in Tamakoshi damaged the footpath in October, he was walking around the village holding the local bhir tree.  The audit tunnel work of the Rolwaling river diversion hydropower project has been started from Riku village. Locals are hoping that they will find work there. The said project is making a 2 meter wide road in Bhir to reach Lamabagar. If the footpath is built, the way will be shortened for the tourists going to Rolwaling area with Chho-Rolpa Himalaya. Local Mingmar Tamang said that the construction of the footpath has brought some hope to Riku locals. "After this footpath is built, Riku's day will also come," he said.
