Maoist Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the dispute regarding the construction of a cable car at the Pathibhara temple in Taplejung should be resolved through dialogue and negotiation.
At the inauguration of the Bagale Shaheed Memorial Park built in Atharai rural municipality-3 Hwaku of Tehrathum on Monday, he said that he was saddened to hear about the incident of firing a few days ago during a dispute regarding the construction of a cable car and said that the government should be more responsible to prevent the incident from happening again.
'Last time, when I was the Prime Minister, delegations were coming repeatedly to discuss the issue of building/not building a cable car in Baluwatar, I was stopping the problem to be solved through dialogue so that there is no conflict, after I left the government, the conflict has intensified, there is still a role to solve the problem through dialogue and dialogue. I will play,' he said.
He promised to take the initiative to solve the problem even if it is through discussion in the parliament or dialogue with the government. Bagale Shaheed Memorial Park was built in memory of 21 Maoist activists and civilians who were killed by the government on 14th January 2058 during the armed conflict.
