CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is going to Terathum on Monday. He went there on Monday morning by a military helicopter accompanied by Deputy Secretary General Varshman Pun. On Monday, he is scheduled to inaugurate Shaheed Dhanrupa Park in Laliguran Municipality-7 Lasune.
After that today he will go to Atharai Rural Municipality of Tehrathum. Atharai is also the birthplace of UML President KP Sharma Oli, who is also the current Prime Minister. President Dahal is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of Bagale Martyr Memorial Park and People's War and Peace Museum building in Atharai. On this day, 18 Maoist army fighters and 3 civilians were killed by security forces.

Dahal also has an interesting story about Tehrathum. He reached Tehrathum when he was at the beginning of his career, as a teacher of Sarada Secondary School in Chuhandanda. But after being appointed as a teacher, he reached the headquarters, Myanglung, and decided not to take a job there.
