There are signs that the multi-party system is moving towards a two-party totalitarianism
The Central Committee of the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party has accused the government of corrupt activities and providing protection to the corrupt.
The Central Committee has taken various decisions on Sunday. The first number of which is the conclusion that the Congress and UML coalition government has lost its purpose and the corrupt have been protected.
About the decision of the Central Committee, RPP Spokesperson and Propaganda Department Head Mohan Kumar Shrestha has mentioned that the Congress and UML have agreed on 7 points but the Central Committee has not acted accordingly. The UML-Congress alliance was formed through a seven-point agreement to protect the national interest according to the wishes of the common people, to maintain good governance in the country by controlling corruption, to accelerate the nation's development campaign, to provide political stability and to give priority to the amendment of the constitution and the creation of appropriate laws for political stability. The conclusion of the RPP is that the government has deviated from its purpose of building the government,' the statement issued by Shrestha states, 'to end corruption and establish good governance, existing in the economy. The government has completely failed in putting an end to laxity and preparing a credible business environment to make economic activities viable, to create enough jobs in the country by encouraging internal and external investment, to control price increase, and to speed up development . Corruption-related activities and corrupt people receiving protection from the government is objectionable and provocative.'
RPP has also accused Congress and UML of running against the values, beliefs, principles, prevailing practices and principles of the multi-party system . There are signs that the multi-party system is moving towards two-party totalitarianism. "The repeated threats of the leaders of the ruling party to move the country towards a two-party system by amending the law related to political parties, and the arbitrary and spontaneous introduction of an ordinance by circumventing the parliament is the initial exercise of two-party totalitarianism," concludes RPP .
