Chairman of CPN Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that he is trying to correct the shortcomings of the past.
On Friday afternoon, while addressing the party's city convention opening and vigilance meeting at Arani Maidan in Tulsipur, he admitted that he had weaknesses in the past. "Even though we got votes in 2064, we could not succeed because of our own weaknesses," he said.
Stating that he wants to lead for the change of the society and the country by correcting the shortcomings, he asked to vote like in 064 in 2084. "I want to work for good governance and change as long as I live," he said. I am ready to improve myself. Now I will work according to the people's wishes.
Stating that there is a complaint that the Maoists have become corrupt, he informed that now there is a plan to unite all aspects of the Maoist movement. "Now we will sincerely try to unite all the Maoists," he said.
