President Ramchandra Paudel has said that the institutions which are the backbone of the constitution and democratic governance system should work with the people and development at the center. He said this at a meeting held today at the Rashtrapati Bhavan with the head and deputy head of the district coordination committee and officials of the Federation of District Coordination Committees Nepal.
President Paudel said, 'Despite various difficulties, the three levels of government, the private sector, and the non-governmental sector continue to carry out important responsibilities such as coordinating and monitoring. He also asked to attract the attention of the state by increasing his role and activity in monitoring and coordinating whether the work has been done according to the budget, plan and mandate. President Paudel said, 'If the village, city and ward are a little careful and alert about whether the work is done according to the plan, process, mandate, then the development work will also progress, and the budget will be properly utilized. This contributes to the development of the nation.'
He also asked the head and deputy head of the coordination committee to increase their effectiveness by being active and aware of their role. Stating that the constitution provides for federal, state and local government, President Paudel mentioned that the district coordination committee has been arranged with the important responsibilities of monitoring and coordinating between rural municipalities and municipalities.
