CPN United Samajwadi Standing Committee Member and President of Gandaki Province Ramji Prasad Sharma passed away.
Sharma's wife Sita said that he suffered a heart attack during a kidney transplant in India. After the transplant on Tuesday, he died due to a heart attack. Sharma was cremated at Nirayaghat located in Baglung Municipality-1 on Thursday.
Former Prime Minister and CPN-S Central Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal paid his last respects on the death of Sharma. Son Shishir gave a lamp to Sharma. CPN S Central Secretary Srinath Baral, central members, Gandaki Province Health Minister Krishna Pathak and members were also present in the tribute meeting held at Nirayaghat.
Baglung's former Malika gavis and now Baglung municipality-5 Sharma was very active and positive in the development of the district. 2054 and in the first Constituent Assembly, Sharma won from UML from Baglung-1 and became the Minister of State for Energy.
After 2077, he was affiliated to CPN-S. Sharma has a wife, two sons, and a daughter .
