Home Minister of the Government of Nepal, Ramesh Akhtar, has said that the subject of retirement of the armed police after 16 years has been included in the law.

He said this while speaking at the Central Office of the Armed Police Force on Wednesday on the occasion of the 24th Armed Police Day.

'After taking charge of the Ministry of Home Affairs, I have been emphasizing on ensuring more effective, professional and growth development of the Nepal Police and the Armed Police through policy and legal stability,' he said, 'with the help of everyone including the Honorable Prime Minister, the law on the Armed Police Force Nepal will be passed within a few days. We have finalized all the preparations for registration in the federal parliament and we will register it in the parliament in a few days.'' tell
