Kailash Sirohia, Chairman of Kantipur Media Group, has said that there is a strong possibility that Gandaki Province will become more influential from all angles. Sirohia said this at an interactive program on 'Destination Gandaki' organized by Kantipur Media Group in Pokhara on Wednesday.
"Gandaki is not only a touristic city, but Pokhara is also an industrial city from the point of view of production. Pokhara has become a leader in the field of education and health, while districts like Manang and Mustang are geographically difficult and weak in terms of infrastructure, he said, "In the Himalayan region, apples and other crops, which have potential in Mangge, have not been able to get incentives and markets. To institutionalize public-private partnerships and build a self-sufficient economy through tourism, enterprise and agriculture, the government's plans and the readiness of the private sector are indispensable.'
Gandaki has the potential to become more influential, but it seems that some work needs to be done for that. Much remains to be done to maximize the potential of Gandaki in tourism and agriculture, education and health, enterprise and infrastructure.
