The Nepali Congress has strongly condemned and criticized the attack on Uddhav Thapa, the party's Koshi state president and leader of the state assembly parliamentary party.

Provincial President Thapa was attacked by some people near the tunnel while he was returning from participating in the program of Nepal Press Union in his home district Jhapa on Saturday. He has an injury on his forehead.

Chief Secretary of Congress Central Office Krishna Prasad Paudel has condemned and condemned the attack on Thapa and demanded action against those involved in chaotic and criminal activities.
