Forest and Environment Minister Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri has said that preparations are being made for the Everest Dialogue Project with the aim of bringing climate justice issues to the international level.
Minister Shahi made this statement at the preparatory meeting of the International Conference on Clean Air Rights and Climate Justice organized by the National Human Rights Commission on Friday. In the
program, Minister Shahi emphasized that by using the available opportunities and clean technology, Nepal can adopt the path of sustainable development without repeating the mistakes made by other countries.
On that occasion, Minister Shahi also informed that currently, in coordination with the Ministry of Forestry, with the participation of other ministries, a 10-year plan on climate change is being prepared for the National Determined Contribution (NDC).
